These terms are between you and Tengri Vertex LLC (“we”, “RememberCam”). They cover remembercam.com, the demo on it, and the RememberCam app for Mac. We sell the app as RememberCam.

RememberCam is for businesses. If you accept these terms for a company, you confirm that you may bind it.

A signed order controls a purchase. If a signed order and this page differ, the signed order controls. A demo call, a price in an email, or a download does not by itself create a contract or an invoice.

The demo on this site

The search demo on this site shows results the app made ahead of time, on public sample footage. It does not search your cameras, and it is not a live system. We may change or remove it at any time.

Buying RememberCam

A purchase is formed only when both sides sign an order, or when we confirm in writing that you accepted our quote. The order sets the price, what it covers, the term, and how you pay.

• Prices are in US dollars. Taxes are extra where the law requires them.
• You pay by invoice, by its due date.
• Fees are not refundable, except as your order says or the law requires.
• Renewal, if any, works the way your order says.
• If an invoice is more than 30 days late, we may pause updates and support after we tell you in writing.

Your license to the app

While your order is active and paid, you may install and use the app on the Macs your order covers, for your own business. Your staff and contractors may use it for you. You are responsible for what they do with it.

You may not:

• sell, rent, or share the app with another business;
• copy the app, except to install it and keep a backup;
• reverse engineer it, except where a law forbids that limit;
• remove our notices, or get around a limit in the app.

The app includes open-source software and AI models made by others. Their own licenses apply to those parts. We keep all rights we do not give you here.

Recording lawfully

You decide which cameras to connect, what they record, and how long the app keeps footage. You are responsible for following every law that applies to your cameras and your footage. That includes:

• posting notices or signs where the law requires them;
• getting consent where the law requires it, for example before you monitor employees;
• not recording restrooms, locker rooms, changing rooms, or other places where people expect privacy, and not using hidden cameras where the law forbids them;
• following sound-recording laws for any video with sound that you add (the app does not record sound from cameras);
• following biometric privacy laws, such as those in Illinois, Texas, and Washington, before you use footage to identify people;
• answering requests about your footage from the people in it, and from police or courts, as the law requires.

Do not use RememberCam, or data from it, to stalk, harass, or track anyone without a lawful reason, to recognize faces or read license plates, or to break any law. Do not use or export it in breach of US export control or sanctions laws.

Not an alarm or emergency service

RememberCam records and searches video. It is not an alarm, a monitoring service, or an emergency service, and we are not your insurer. Alerts appear in the app. RememberCam does not call, text, or send anyone.

The app can miss events, stop recording, or lose footage. This can happen when the Mac is off, asleep, or out of disk space, or when a camera or the network goes down. Do not rely on RememberCam alone to protect people or property. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.

Search and AI results

Search, alerts, counts, and AI answers can be wrong. They can miss what you look for, or show something that does not match. Check the video yourself before you act on a result. Take extra care before you accuse anyone, or give footage to police, a court, or an insurer.

Your footage

Your footage stays on your Mac, or on the drive you choose. We do not receive it, see it, or store it. You keep all rights to it. You control who can use the Mac and the app, and who sees your footage.

Because we do not hold your footage, we cannot give it to police or anyone else. If someone asks us for it, we send them to you and tell you, unless the law bars us.

If you send us a clip, a picture, or a log for support, we use it only to help you. We delete it when we are done, unless the law requires us to keep it.

The app deletes footage by its rules:

• Full video is deleted about 30 days after it is recorded. A smaller record of people and vehicles is kept for up to 12 months, then deleted.
• When the disk is nearly full, the rule you choose applies. Automatic cleanup deletes the oldest footage first. Otherwise, recording pauses until there is space.
• When you delete footage in the app, it is gone for good. It does not go to the Trash.
• Recordings you mark to keep are not deleted by these rules. Video files you add from your recorder are never changed or deleted.

If you may need footage for a claim, an investigation, or a legal hold, mark it to keep or save a clip right away. Keep your own backups. We are not responsible for footage deleted by these rules or by your settings, or lost to hardware, power, or disk failure.

Services you choose to connect

Some features use other companies' services. They stay off until you turn them on:

• Cloud AI from Google, OpenAI, or Anthropic. When you ask about a moment, the app sends that picture and your question to the provider you chose, with your own key. Their terms and prices apply.
• The built-in AI, which the app downloads from Hugging Face when you click to download it.
• Tailscale, if you use it to watch from your phone away from your own network.

We do not control these services, and we are not responsible for them.

Early access

RememberCam is new. During early access, we may change or remove features. We will tell you before we release a change to how the app records or keeps footage.

Our software

The app, the site, and the RememberCam name belong to us or our licensors. Do not copy the site or the app for resale, scrape the site, or use our name or logo without our written OK.

Feedback

If you send a suggestion, we may use it without payment and without a duty to keep it confidential.

No warranty

The site, the demo, and the app are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the app will record or detect every event, or that it will run without errors or interruption. A signed order may add specific promises. This page does not add any.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for lost data or footage. Our total liability for all claims is the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid us for RememberCam in the 12 months before the claim.

We do not limit liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or a liability the law does not allow us to limit.

Your responsibility for misuse

You will cover a claim a third party brings against us, to the extent it comes from:

• how you or your users record, use, keep, or share footage;
• a breach of these terms or of the law by you or your users;
• content you had no right to send us.

This does not apply to the extent we caused the claim.

Stopping

You may stop using the site at any time. A paid order ends the way it says. We may suspend your use if you break these terms or the law, or to protect people or the service.

When your order ends, your license ends. You may keep using the app for 30 days after that, only to save or export your footage. Your footage stays on your Mac, and it stays yours.

Changes

We post a new version of this page with a new date. It applies from that date. If a change matters to paying customers, we also email them before it applies. A signed order changes only in writing signed by both sides.

California law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state courts in San Francisco County and the federal courts of the Northern District of California are the venue, except where a law that applies to you forbids that choice.

Write to us before you file. We will try to resolve the dispute first.

Other terms

• If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
• If we do not enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later.
• You may not transfer these terms without our written OK. We may transfer them to a buyer of our business.
• We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control, such as power or internet outages, disasters, or failures of other companies' services.
• These terms, your signed order, and our privacy notice are the whole agreement about RememberCam.
